Band Celebrated for Prodigal Touring Adding New Shows to Schedule Daily
Your Vegas Currently in Studio Working on Follow Up to Debut Album

After spending 200+ days on the road touring in support of their critically acclaimed debut album, “A Town and Two Cities” alt-rock band YOUR VEGAS will perform a madcap series of 13 shows and musical appearances in 32 days across New York City with additional shows being added to the schedule daily. Your Vegas, who most recently were handpicked by Duran Duran to be the supporting act for the 2008 Spring and Fall legs of their U.S. & Canada "Red Carpet Massacre" tour, has dubbed the series of shows and appearances “sonic saturation” and will perform their traditional live show, in addition to special acoustic and cover performances, at a variety of venues and studios ranging from The Studio at Webster Hall and Santos Party House to The Bell House to Root Café with more to be announced. In addition to the live shows, Your Vegas will also be performing at several private events, acting as guest DJs for a slew of weekly parties and hosting an acoustic show for the children at the Ronald McDonald House, a charity with whom they’ve long been aligned.

Your Vegas, who hail from Leeds, UK but have called New York City home for two years, has never played more than two shows in a row in New York City due to their tour schedule, which saw them perform at All Points West, Bamboozle, Bonnaroo, CMJ, Lollapalooza, Sundance Film Festival and SXSW as well as their stint as one of the first bands to tour as part of Playboy’s Rock the Rabbit. In addition to their own headlining tours through the US, United Kingdom and European Union, Your Vegas has completed extensive touring gigs in support of The Bravery, Duran Duran and Shiny Toy Guns.

The schedule was designed to work around the band’s recording sessions. Your Vegas, who parted ways with Universal Republic at the end of 2008, are currently in the studio, working on their follow up to “A Town and Two Cities” which was one of Amazon’s Editor Picks for 2008. The EP version of “A Town and Two Cities” reached #27 on the iTunes charts and their single "In My Head" was the #1 most requested and played song on Sirius XM Radio Channel Alt Nation for 5 weeks straight. Heavily licensed by domestic television, the track “Your Vegas” was featured on MTV’s The Hills, “Champion” on various ESPN spots and “Christmas and Me Are Through" on NBC’s Chuck.
